Selling and buying can be stressful in any case and as to be expected there were a few little bumps along the way which seem to be magnified when living so far away. However your calming voice of reassurance and reason helped me to see the bigger picture and sleep at night anyway. You and your team did everything that was needed to help the property sell as quickly as possible and took care of any worries or problems in an efficient way, keeping me informed every step of the way. We cannot recommend Carol and her team enough. We had a previous relationship as we had rented part of our property through her office and they provided an excellent rental agent service. From the beginning of our sales process she was extremely professional and showed great market knowledge and sales support. We were selling our property while living overseas and it was essential that we had an agent we could rely on and trust and Carol certainly was that. She continually went the extra mile in ensuring our property was always in the best shape for inspections and she continually communicated with us. Our property had several facets to it with land and outbuildings and Carol managed the marketing and presentation extremely well. Along the way to our eventual sale there were some complex discussions and negotiations with the buyers, and she managed those calmly and with great professionalism. We were happy with our sale outcome which we felt was achieved well within a very satisfactory timescale.

Most customers of a real estate agent write their reviews from a sellers perspective. I am writing this from a buyers perspective. Having dealt with numerous estate agents over the years in both my professional and private life, I can say without reservation that way too many of them cannot be trusted. In my initial dealings with Carol I found her very different to the agents I am used to dealing with. My initial dealings with an agent is to ask questions I know the answers to, to see if they tell me the truth. This sets the stage for future dealings with them. I subjected Carol to this line of questioning as I do with all agents I deal with, and to my surprise, Carol came through with flying colours. Meaning, she told me the truth to every question I put to her. And all throughout my dealings with Carol, I found I could trust what she told me. Now while an agents allegiance is to the seller, there is no reason the agent cannot satisfy this duty and still be ethical when it comes to the buyer. Carol achieved this through the whole transaction to the point she proved an agent a cut above the majority of agents out there. In summary, would I recommend Carol to any buyer, yes I would. And I will certainly use Carol’s services when I have to sell a property as ethical practices are not situational dependent.

She went out the extra mile to make sure the house was always nice and tidy and even protected items on the veranda from the rain. She was always approachable and orchestrated many appointments for buyers outside the official open for inspection times. She kept us always updated via SMS, email, phone and has a friendly and calm communication style. She is keen to know technical details of support and maintenance arrangements in order to present the house in the best possible way. To sum it up – she has done an excellent job.
